I am the original owner of this beautiful K-Line NYC 20th Century Limited Scale 21" Extruded Aluminum 2-Pack NIB, which I purchased from Kevin Shelton, the terrific owner of the Western Depot, a number of years ago, which remains one of the top O Gauge dealers in the country. I have listed today the K-Line 20th Century Limited Scale 21" Extruded Aluminum 4-Pack NIB, and this 2-PAC would be a perfect addition to that set.
The 20th Century Limited was one of the premier NYC passenger trains of the steam and first generation diesel era. These K-Line passenger cars are some of the most beautiful ever produced by any manufacturer in O Scale.
Known by many as the world’s ultimate streamliner, a crimson carpet was rolled out for passengers of the New York Central’s 20th Century Limited, giving rise to the phrase “red-carpet” treatment. Extra-fare opulence, luxurious detail and reliability were experienced by the passengers of this 1938 streamliner.
Die cast four-wheel trucks, fast-angle wheels and die cast metal couplers with hidden uncoupling mechanism ensure these cars operate as smoothly as the on-board accommodations between New York and Chicago. There is a full-list of the details of these passenger cars below.
This 20th Century Limited 2-Pack is extremely rare and is virtually impossible to find NIB.

I very recently opened the K-Line shipping box containing this 2-Pack for the first time to take pictures of the cars. The two car-set is still factory-sealed in shrink wrap.
I rate these passenger cars as C-9 and their K-Line boxes as P-9 under the TCA Grading Standards.
