Powerball winning numbers, live results for Wednesday’s $196M drawing

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has climbed to an estimated $196 million, with a cash option of $90.7 million.
The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia.
The winning numbers were: 1, 6, 7, 13, 40. The Powerball drawn was 5, with a Power Play of 5X.
While no one across the country hit Monday’s $184 million jackpot, a second-prize, $1 million ticket was sold in Virginia. It matched the five main numbers but not the Powerball number. In New Jersey, no one won more than $200 with a single ticket in Monday’s drawing.
Monday’s winning numbers were: 5, 35, 45, 60 and 63. The Powerball drawn was 12, with a Power Play of 2X.
In addition, no one nationally on Monday won the secondary $10 million Double Play jackpot. Those winning numbers were: 2, 13, 25, 27 and 39. The Double Play number drawn was 10.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 to win a third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $514 million, with a cash option of $241 million.
